Zara sale 2026: when it starts and how to get your size
Zara holds two big end-of-season sales a year. Knowing roughly when they start, and being ready before they do, is what decides whether you get your size.
When does the Zara winter sale start?
In most European countries the winter sale has started in the evening around 25–26 December, first in the Zara app and on the website, then in stores the next morning. In Spain it has started later, around early January. Zara does not announce the exact date in advance, so treat these as the usual pattern, not a promise.
When does the summer sale start?
The summer sale has usually started in the last week of June, again online and in the app first, in the evening, with stores following the next day.
Black Friday
Zara has also run a Black Friday promotion on selected items in some countries, starting the evening before Black Friday. It is smaller than the end-of-season sales and differs by country.
Why your size sells out in the first hours
Popular sizes (for example S, M and EU 37–39) go first, often within hours of the sale opening. Later in the sale, returned items come back into stock in small numbers, usually without any announcement.
How to get your size
Before the sale, add the items you want to SizeBack and set a target price. When the price drops to it, you hear about it straight away. If your size is already gone, keep the watch on: returns during the sale often bring single sizes back for a short time.
